EXPLORING BODAIMOTO - with KANPAI X WSET

  • KANPAI Sake Brewery & Taproom 48 Druid Street London, England, SE1 2EZ United Kingdom (map)

Join WSET students at KANPAI’s Bermondsey taproom, just a short walk from WSET School London, for an exclusive deep dive into one of sake’s oldest and most fascinating brewing styles.

KANPAI’s Head Brewer, Tom Wilson, will guide guests through this season’s Bodaimoto releases - a rare opportunity to taste three different tanks from the 2026, each presented in two distinct styles, for a total of six unique pours. Discover how production choices can shape flavour, texture and aroma, while exploring the rich history behind this 1,000 year old Japanese brewing method.

The tasting will be accompanied by a small selection of snacks, carefully paired to complement the sake.

Whether you are new to sake or already immersed in the world of nihonshu, join us for an evening of discovery at the home of craft sake in London.
