Join us at Kanpai Sake Brewery for a Sake Cocktail Party on Thursday, 18th, April featuring special guest bartender Samuel Boulton, author of "The Art of Mixing Koji Cocktails." Boulton will be showcasing three exceptional Sake cocktails, two of which are straight from his renowned book, alongside a brand new cocktail designed exclusively in collaboration with Kanpai Sake Brewery.

One of the cocktails gracing the menu for the evening will be the SUMO cocktail, featuring Kanpai Aged Sake, Imo shochu, and chocolate cookies. Boulton describes this creation as his interpretation of harmonising Japanese and Western cultures. The cocktail has a Koshu sake base, lending a rich miso-like Umami backbone, complemented by the sweet potato notes of Imozake (a sweet potato shochu). These flavours  intertwine with the chocolate cookie syrup, creating a symphony of taste reminiscent of a delectable biscuit.
