MIRU 'BODAIMOTO' LAUNCH TASTING - Thursday 26th February 2026
Join us on Thursday 26th February for a special tasting of our brand new limited edition, ultra-premium, experimental British sake!
“MIRU” - Junmai Ginjo brewed using a 1,000 year old Bodaimoto recipe is part of our “REBIRTH” sake series - Rich, Full-bodied, and Complex - sitting at 16.0% ABV, -12 SMV and utilising henpei flat rice polishing, MIRU is not one to miss!
A chance to discover and discuss this rare style of sake; where we aim to explore the structural depth, acidity, and microbial complexity achievable through pre-modern brewing techniques. Hosted by Tom Wilson, KANPAI’s Head Brewer.
During the evening you'll enjoy a welcome aperitif sake, plus 2x different MIRU bottlings (clear & cloudy varients), finally a half-pint of our collaboration beer brewed by the team from The Kernel, brewed with sake-kasu from MIRU, resulting in a delicious 5.9% ABV Japanese style lager. There will also be some umami pairing nibbles to accompany the drinks tasting.
This is a limited ticket event - Book your tickets early to avoid disappointment.
