Make something worth bringing out every Christmas. Join Japanese ceramic artist Noriko Nagaoka for a relaxed, hands-on workshop creating your own stoneware ornaments - beautiful for your tree or as personal, handmade gifts.
Noriko will guide you through shaping and decorating your pieces, using leaves, stamps and textures to make each one unique. Create one larger ornament or up to five smaller pieces, then choose from five glaze colours.
Your ticket includes:
A 90-minute guided workshop
450g of stoneware clay and all tools
A choice of dark brown/black, dark blue, glossy white, cream or green glaze
Glazing and kiln firing
Can of KANPAI Session Sake or Soft Drink
Your finished ornaments will be ready to collect from KANPAI approximately 3–4 weeks later, in time for Christmas.
No experience needed. Family friendly. Limited spaces.
Feel free to bring leaves, shells or other objects to create your own textures. Short nails are recommended for working with clay.
