Join us at KANPAI taproom for a rare evening discussing all things sake with the owner of a Japanese sake brewery.

Visiting from Hiroshima, Japan, Mr. Maegaki, owner of Kamoizumi sake brewery will take you through a guided tasting of five of their sake, accompanied by a small nibble plate of food.

This will be an intimate, fun, small-group tasting session, and will last approximately 2 hours.

Kamoizumi sakes have an attitude: their signature “Shusen” label is robust, tawny and full-flavoured, with a smoky depth of flavour that evokes fall days and shiitake mushrooms. For many sake fans Kamoizumi’s supple balance of sweetness, acidity and umami is unique in the sake world.
